Vista 64 bit

Post by sporty »

I was wondering,

If any of you using a newer laptop with vista 64 bit and fast track timer and starting gate sensor.

have to use a serial ata to usb ?

Seems vista 64 bit will not recongize this connection.

Yet the same process seems to work for xp pro or vista 32 bit.

I was wondering if anyone else has ran into this and how they solved it ?

It would all depend on the device driver for the adapter. I think it would be more of an issue of if the adapter is compatible with Vista than being a 32/64 bit issue. Many adapters do not list Vista support.

You can always see if the adapter manufacturer has a website. If so, they may have updated drivers available for download.
