Some pics of the K1CS (K1 cheap kit with serial interface & all data option). This kit contains the circuit board and components for you to solder, no enclosure or frame. I purchased the hardware for the enclosure at Lowes and misc electrical parts from Radio Shack.
Put it together this weekend. It's all up an running. Plugged it into the computer tonight to make sure serial output was working. Everything is working fine.
Now I just need to print a graphic for the front and mount it to the track.
New Timer - Microwizard K1CS
Re: New Timer - Microwizard K1CS
looks good.
What you can do also is get black or whever vinyl, there are sample ones sold on e-bay or contact them and they can get you scraps, for like $1, minus shipping.
then just use a cutting board and sissors and make squares or what have you not, to get that checkers look.
there is also vinyl adheasive backed decal sheet you can get from e-bay. print on your printer, then spray with a can of clear coat, let dry for a day ro so and then peel and stick it on.
thats what I use to make my team sporty decals. and it works well. there is clear and gloss white. for ink printers.
