I am taking this thread down since my comments were taken not as I had intended. I was not trying to berate anyone's product. I was just trying to express that when people are looking for a timing system, they should not only consider the up front cost. I feel that it is important to look at situations that could crop up during a race (timing related or not) and come up with a countermeasure plan. That is based on years of providing support to my software customers as well as in the many races that I have personally run (10 to 15 a year). I feel it is better to be prepared than caught with your pants down when a problem does come up, because problems can and do occur.
