Cubmobile Derby in the News

I don't often see Cubmobile races in the news, but stumbled upon this one today. I thought that it was a good read.

I thought cubmobiles were supposed to be ran on flat ground and have a 2nd scout pushing the car while the driver steered.

You're thinking of Pushmobile.

Cubmobile was actually the inspiration for Pinewood Derby, when a Cubmaster came up with a miniature version for his son, who was too young to ride Cubmobile.

You are getting that confused with the Soap Box Derby.
