Post by Turbo_Python »

I have a question for you guys in possession of or knowledge of aluminum Best Tracks? What is the exact distance between the the 2 center rails(on a lane), the out side measurement?

I just measured my track. Outside of the of a center rail to the outer edge is 15/16". I hope this is the dimension you are looking for.

Not quite. On Best Track, there are 2 center rails that make the lane so to speak(between the wheels). They are a 1/4" in height. But the exact distance between the 2 of them is the big mystery.

Example photo only, it's not Best Track.
See the risen rails in the middle? Whats the precise distance between them? The outside dimension.

Heh heh. That's what I meant. Different locales, different lingo. Thanks again, it's a huge help in understanding why our last car only pulled 3rd place. This year's car was to wide between the front wheels. I needed to know the exact distance on those rails to tighten it up custom to the track.
