I just measured my track. Outside of the of a center rail to the outer edge is 15/16". I hope this is the dimension you are looking for.

Not quite. On Best Track, there are 2 center rails that make the lane so to speak(between the wheels). They are a 1/4" in height. But the exact distance between the 2 of them is the big mystery.CTS Memorial Raceway wrote:I just measured my track. Outside of the of a center rail to the outer edge is 15/16". Example photo only, it's not Best Track.
See the risen rails in the middle? Whats the precise distance between them? The outside dimension.

Heh heh. That's what I meant. Different locales, different lingo. Thanks again, it's a huge help in understanding why our last car only pulled 3rd place. This year's car was to wide between the front wheels. I needed to know the exact distance on those rails to tighten it up custom to the track.ah8tk wrote:Nope, just a dial caliper.
