If you do the whole track a solid color, I'd go for a color that hides graphite better.

Is yours is un-anodized track? If so, you do have the option of colored anodizing. Powder coating may provide too thick of a coating that may give you issues reassembling the track.

I guess I'll have to look around near me. Or I can have the PC company tape off all the edges so the track will still join properly.

Micro Wizard has implemented some long awaited improvements to their track. The new design is called the "Quick Pack Track". See http://derbytalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=8548 for a review of the new design.
