Pinewood Derby programs

Post by Mike S. »

I am putting together the program for our PW derby this year. Wanted to include some of the history as it is the 60th anniversary. Does anyone have a sample program so I can get some ideas? Thanks, Mike

You mean a program already with the history, or just a program. I can send you ours from last year, but it has no history -- but will this year!

Guys if any of the photos I've posted on DT will help you out with the pinewood derby history.
Well please fell free to do up a slide show useing them to help share its history.

Here's a nice, concise piece on the history.

I gathered some jokes, history etc... on PWD. I'll e-mail the .doc to you.
It helps if you really know the kids and their build process.
Last year, we had a kid accidentally drop another kids' car during the build process... made for a great story once they both won their respective packs.
My wife started a new support group... Widows of the Pinewood Derby.
