Ickabod,
Any chance you have all the results that you could post?
Us streamers could not hear very well and did not see the final standings.
Thanks,

Seth, how well did your car do there.
What type of automobile can be spelled the same forwards & backwards?

Re: Mid America
I'll let Seth speak for himself, but I can't help chiming in and saying that I thought Seth, and all the rest of the DTers represented themselves and Derby Talk admirably at the race, and in the chat room.
Great job guys. Really well done.
Regards,
Scott

Mark,
I had a respectable few runs. I would guess I was in the top half of the total, I ran under 3 sec for 3/5 runs and I beat at least one person from DT
I would agree with Scott that the DT team rocked. We had some fast and consistent cars. It was fun to watch and keep track of all my DT buddies. Will have some cool pictures of new cars to post soon,

Re: Mid America
My son's car placed 5th in the bears in the open scout division. Not sure if he placed in the top 12 overall. His fastest time was a 2.96.

Re: Mid America
Kids got smoked in open scouts Bears and Wolves, next year they will run oil.
Seth- You kicked my tail! I saw your car go sub-3 in person and was very happy for you! TedBull had a good day also!
We ran pretty inconsistent, but it was a learning experience. Our best times were 3.01 on all stock parts and graphite. I struggle with tuning and drilling. We ran middle of the pack I'm guessing.
Won some cool prizes though!

Re: Mid America
We had a great time. We did ok, but we still were not able to catch Greg (xanthrum) and Scott (5 kids). We still have more work to do for next year . It was great to see all the DT cars there. I tried to get on the chat, but apparently it doesn't work from my phone.
I don't have the results, but I am sure Greg will post them to the Mid-America Derby website soon.
Here are most of the prized we received in our goodie bag.
Here are our cars and hardware.
2nd in Qualified Bears
3rd overall in Qualified scouts
6th in Open Kids
6th in Open Adults
Here is a pic of the family.
Looking forward to next year (after a short reprieve for the wife)

Re: Mid America
Seth,
Thanks for the compliment, though not totally sure of the final results. Couldn't sleep this morning hoping they were posted.
Ick and Mo, would love to see more pics - especially of the car tables if you took any. Although the live feed was fun, we couldn't really see the cars. Only heat by heat times.
I'm not sure, but thinking we placed 3rd open bears with 12 overall open scouts, and 4th overall open kids. Wish I knew for sure as I don't want to mis-represent.
Also, wish I knew if the cars were regraphited or not.
Can't wait to see all of the times.

Re: Mid America
Hey guys,
Results are getting uploaded to the Mid-America site right now.
We're still buzzing from yesterday and were happy to make the open Scout final.
We got 11th overall and came in 4th in Webelos. We're glad to have placed and Jr.'s happy to get some hardware.
Already looking forward to next year.
BTW, thx for posting the pix Ickabod.
