Yes, the side view helps. I was in Stuttgart Germany a few weeks ago...Definitely looking like a classic Porsche.

Well done sir.

Looks like a Citron to me...

How are you drilling your axel holes these days? Silver Bullet?

Can you show us a few bottom shots of your weighting scheme?

Topspin.D .. You might have just nailed it being a 1960's Citroen.

Heres a 1960's porsche 911 Classic Super S.

Yep, the rear wheel cowling looks like a dead match for the Citroen. I stand corrected (twice).

Seth,
Will the rear panels/fenders on the car be able to be removed by unfasting one dowl pen.
And are you planing on makeing the high-pressure hydraulic jack for crossing bumpy track terrain.
What about the swivelling headlights that illuminated the drivers way through corners.

If only you have said this car was introduced in 1955
and that it set new standards for the family sedans. ;)

I'm not very familiar with Minecraft, and certainly not familiar enough with the Minecraft culture to recognize the image. To me it looks like the pixelization they use in news programs or in reality shows when they want to show you something that happened, but need to hide someone's "private parts".

Citroen it is guys. Whoa...I am leaving out the hydrolics-maybe my next one. Scrollsaer-its really the full fender skirts that make it (and made me crazy). Topspin, this car is like 4 oz as is. I drilled a few 3/8th holes on the bottom but it wont need much weight. Also if you look up my posting http://www.derbytalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=7788 you will see that I had a few issues I needed help with. Andy gave great advice. This is going to an all show and no-go model. Hope to work on this some more and get a start to finish shots in.

Oh and Darin-Mindcraft is all about pixels!

Well it was a clean sweep, first places in each division.
Big surprise was my daughter's car pulling a 2.942
Son has hit the 2.096 wall with a personal best of 2.960 besting his District winning time of 2.962 .
I again was whopped by the kids :paperbag: with a 3.000 (Sooooo close).

Time to review the slo mo videos. Think I need some more steer (As Lightnin Boy said). I moved my daughter to 4 in over 4 ft as her car was not tuned yet in the photo and wow.

Only bad part of the night was that my wife suggested this was evidence that I was spending too much time in the garage.

Well done Team T!
Looks like whoever the "S" wolf family is will catch you next year :)... They're pretty fast too.
Our PWD isn't until early March. Let me know if you want to run with us.

Wife was out of town so we spent the weekend prepping for districts. Did not touch my daughters car but mine and car sons had the wheels pulled. Re prepped the body with more nail polish then graphite. More metal polish on the axels and re-burnished the wheels. Cranked up the drift to 4 in over 4 in all cars. Mine needed it upon review of the slo mo vids. My sons car was smooth with less drift but I decided to bump it up anyway. One more week. Also took the time to prep 2 cars for mid America. Can't use thee as the MA is too close to districts.
I am running the distinct race this year and I have been promoting it like crazy to get a better turn out. Let's hope we have have some good competition.
