Residue on wheels
I've been experimenting with diffferent plastic polishes in the wheel bore. After using the polishes with a pipe cleaner I rinse the wheel off and run a new/clean pipe cleaner in the bore. Then I wipe the whole wheel down again but still see some residue and film in there. Also in the little crevices. What is the best way to clean the wheels completely? I would hate to do all this work and still have some left over film mix in with the grafite and slow the car down. Thanks and I hope y'all had a nice a Thanksgiving!

Re: Residue on wheels
I use denatured alcohol on the wheels after I polish. If using a oil process, I clean the tread after applying the oil.

Re: Residue on wheels
I use a pipe cleaner soaked in alcohol and clean the bore. I wipe the tread area with a paper towel with alcohol on it. The detailed areas of the wheel just get rinsed with water and wiped off.

For those that would like to try an ultrasonic cleaner here is a review of one, that may be purchased for a good price here.
