Say Aron,
You know them singing Hallmark cards from Walmart..
Some times have Led or fiber optic lights in them also.
And with the lights blinking & the music playing in these
cars how cool would that be?
The inter workings and speaker in the cards are small enough to pack into derby
cars.
Just an idea to look at if your kids would like to have there
cars playing music also.
Just to kinda give your kids & you ideas for the car and music.
Hear are a few photos of the workings..
One of the cards plays the song "Funkytown" by Steven Greenberg.
And the next plays the song "Talkin'about my Baby"by Fatboy Slim.
There are so many songs in these cards now or days..
even ones you can record your own favorite songs in to..
Like " She's Some Kind Of Wounderful" by Grand Funk RailRoad, Ect..
Here is what i like about these look at this photo!
Thay have every thing you need.. And thay dont weigh that much also,
plus there around $8.00 & if you would like to add more lights.
you get the idea.
Now if I could only come up with a Hallmark card that played the song..
"Low Rider From the Band WAR".
I'd like to try to do up the car like.. Ramone from the movie
cars..
Haveing it playing the song while the lights blinked also.
And to make the car look as if it were bounceing to the music while it's going down the track.
Just ask someone if thay have any out of round wheels to get this car bounceing to the song.
Hopefuly you guys get the idea to haveing a car playing music with blinking lights it would be neat.
Here is one Go Bubba Go did up some time back thats Cool!

And you know that little mirco switch Randy uses now on his fan power car.
Would work good to start the show off with at the drop of the starting peg.
Funny i say this now..because this idea just hit me while i was walmart looking for a card.
Here is that card i picked up that plays the song "All Right Now" by Paul Rodgers, Andrew Fraser
when you open the card up.
And a little some thing my dad would always say to me.
How cool would it be teaching your boys how to bend light?
By useing stuff like this on the end of the l.e.d lights to make your own fiber optic light,
guitar strings and have them light up to the beat of a song.
Aron, this is the best tip that i can pass back your way if your boys are looking to do
something a little different for next year.
And
on that smore car.
Mark.
