This will give you a listing for the local manufacturers that are available in your state.

Columbia Forest Products is one of those that come to mind.

An Alternative might be to go to a sign company and see if they have a product called Alumalite. http://www.harborsales.net/fullsheetloo ... d%20Panels
It is more costly, by a bunch, but who wouldn't like to build their own aluminum surfaced track. :shock:

Hurley,

I respect your opinion, and acknowledge it is just that, as is mine. You have had good experience with MDF for track app and recommend it highly. I question it's use for said app, paticularly the 1/4" variety. Let's agree to disagree and move on. We have wasted enough pixels and quite frankly I don't see either one of us relenting our position.

My thanks to everyone who posted their advice & opinions in trying to help me out. I'm exploring my options on material availability. You guys all give me some great options & pointed me in some great directions. As it looks at present, I may have to work with what is available in this area at present until a better option comes along. I'll try to keep you updated on how it progresses.
